Stafford Gray is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join their Agile development team. This is a hybrid role based in Lansing, Michigan, focusing on backend development using ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in object-oriented programming and web development.
The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions. You'll be responsible for writing clean, efficient code, performing code reviews, and creating automated unit tests. The position requires strong expertise in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, and MVC frameworks, along with experience in database optimization and stored procedures.
As a Senior .NET Developer, you'll be working in an Agile environment, participating in iterative development cycles, and translating business requirements into technical solutions. The role offers opportunities to work with modern technologies and best practices, including Test-Driven Development and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 6+ years of relevant experience. Responsibilities For .Net Developer
- Collaborate within an Agile team to deliver high-quality source code
- Develop and implement features based on user stories and acceptance criteria

Requirements For .Net Developer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET and C# web development
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, including jQuery
- 3+ years of experience working with Oracle or SQL Server backends
- 6+ years of experience in object-oriented programming
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL Server queries and stored procedures
- 2+ years of experience with Entity Framework
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft MVC 4.0+ framework and Razor
- 5+ years of experience with CSS and Bootstrap
- Experience in n-tier application development
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit tests
- Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source control
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
