Stafford Gray is seeking a Senior AI/Java Developer for a hybrid position in Lansing, Michigan. This role focuses on maintaining and developing GCP applications, specifically Document AI and Google Chatbot systems for vital records within MDHHS. The position requires expertise in AI/ML technologies, cloud services, and various programming languages. The successful candidate will serve as a technical lead, providing guidance to other developers while working on critical document processing and chatbot systems. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, requiring deep knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, and cloud technologies. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with 2 days in office and 3 days remote. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms, and enterprise-level software development, with a focus on creating robust, scalable solutions for government healthcare systems.
Responsibilities For Senior AI/Java Developer
- Provide maintenance and support of GCP applications including Document AI and Google Chatbot
- Develop and maintain MDHHS DOC AI and ChatBot solutions
- Act as technical lead and provide technical guidance to other developers
- Participate in analytical assignments for enhancement, integration, and maintenance
- Ensure data integrity and SEM/SUITE compliance
- Secure applications and maintain system stability
- Work with document processing and information extraction systems
- Design and implement conversational AI solutions
Requirements For Senior AI/Java Developer
- 5+ years experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn
- 5+ years experience in SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face's
- 5+ years experience in Tesseract, Google Vision API, or AWS Textract
- 5+ years experience in Dialogflow ES or CX, Google Assistant SDK
- 5+ years experience in RESTful APIs and webhooks
- 5+ years experience in SQL, R, and/or Pandas
- 5+ years in cloud computing and software development
- 5+ years software development in Python, Java, JavaScript
- 5+ years implementing core AI and ML concepts
- 5+ years designing, building, and managing GCP solutions
- 5+ years in projects development using Angular/React JS
- 5+ years programming in JBOSS Enterprise SOA environment
- 5+ years using CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices
- 3+ years experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
