As a Customer Engineer at Stainless, you'll be at the forefront of developer experience, working directly with users from startups to enterprise clients. This role goes beyond traditional Support Engineering, requiring strong technical abilities across multiple programming languages and the ability to quickly adapt to new contexts.

The position offers a unique blend of responsibilities, from support engineering and sales engineering to technical writing and product development. You'll be part of a growing team, helping establish the foundation of customer support while directly influencing the company's roadmap.

Responsibilities For Customer Engineer

  • Support developers at startups and enterprises to understand their needs
  • Write documentation and help build website
  • Write code internally and for external customers
  • Handle support requests across Slack, email and other channels
  • Work on improving codegen for new use-cases
  • Create examples and demos for potential users
  • Develop custom helpers for sophisticated users
  • Interface between Stainless and users
