Responsibilities For Security Engineer
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls to protect the Starknet Foundation's digital assets and infrastructure
- Plan and execute security audits across core Starknet components and ecosystem dApps
- Monitor and stay ahead of evolving blockchain-specific security threats, trends, and best practices
- Lead incident response planning and execution, coordinating recovery efforts in the event of a breach
- Champion a culture of security across the Foundation and the ecosystem through training, documentation, and ongoing education
Requirements For Security Engineer
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and cryptographic protocols
- Experience with security auditing and penetration testing of smart contracts and blockchain networks
- Proficient in Solidity and secure smart contract development
- Solid background in security engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communicator
- Based in Lisbon, Tel Aviv, or London, with flexibility to work part-time in-office
