The Integration and AI Engineer role is a crucial position that combines system integration expertise with AI implementation. You'll be responsible for streamlining operational processes and improving data flow across the organization. As the internal AI subject matter expert, you'll evaluate and implement AI solutions that enhance every aspect of the business.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of experience in system integration or data engineering, with strong knowledge of integration platforms and AI technologies. You'll work directly under the VP of Engineering, collaborating with various departments to implement solutions that bridge operational systems with the core EMR/workflow system.

Responsibilities For Integration and AI Engineer

  • Create and manage integrations between various operational systems (HR, workforce management, medical operations, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and implement solutions
  • Ensure data flows effectively between operational systems and core EMR/workflow system
  • Evaluate AI solutions to automate business processes and improve decision making
  • Evaluate buy/build/partner decisions for AI tools
  • Create algorithms and data processing techniques and provide data analysis for operational insights
  • Translate human needs into understandable, ethical and trustworthy AI

Requirements For Integration and AI Engineer

  • 3-5 years of experience in system integration or data engineering
  • Strong experience with integration platforms (e.g., Zapier or similar tools)
  • Knowledge of AI space (trends, companies, capabilities)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address complex integration challenges
  • Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
  • Familiarity with workflow optimization or business process improvement
  • A self-starter who can work independently under the VP of Engineering
  • Strong collaborator who can work effectively with various departments
  • Ability to balance technical implementation with stakeholder management
  • Experience in healthcare IT or telehealth helpful
