Junior Software Engineer

Stempad is revolutionizing scientific writing by making it as fast and intuitive as pen and paper. We're a fast-moving startup that believes in rapid iteration and building products people love to use. Our mission is to transform how students, scientists, and technical professionals communicate their ideas.

As our junior software engineer, you'll work directly with the founder to build and scale Stempad's core product. You'll have significant input into technical decisions and help shape our engineering culture from the ground up.

Requirements:

• Experience with React and Next.js
• Experience with TypeScript and TailwindCSS
• Ability to work autonomously and make product decisions
• Evidence of shipping high-quality software quickly
• Any backend and database experience
• Past experience in software engineering (FT or internships)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with rich text editors (Slate, Lexical, ProseMirror)
• Strong product and design sensibilities
• Early-stage startup experience
