They're seeking a Data Engineer for their European headquarters in Amsterdam to lead their data infrastructure initiative. The role involves creating robust data infrastructure, driving business insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The position offers a unique blend of technical challenges and business impact, working with modern technologies like CockroachDB/Postgres, AWS, Redis, Kafka, and BigQuery. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in data engineering, strong Python and SQL skills, and experience with data warehouse design and pipeline development.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Partner with engineering to create and maintain scalable data infrastructure for BI reporting
  • Introduce and improve tools and workflows for data processing and analysis
  • Design, integrate, and document technical components for data platform
  • Investigate data problems and optimize data quality
  • Ensure data systems optimization for speed and efficiency
  • Interview stakeholders to understand data and BI requirements
  • Partner with VP of Revenue Operations on BI initiatives
  • Provide trusted data fabric for stakeholders across the company

Requirements For Data Engineer

  • Minimum 4 years experience in data engineering
  • Strong engineering background including IT infrastructure and BI
  • Experience in data warehouse design and data processing tools
  • Experience in data pipeline design (batch and streaming)

  • Must work on-site in Amsterdam 3 days per week
