They're seeking a Data Engineer for their European headquarters in Amsterdam to lead their data infrastructure initiative. The role involves creating robust data infrastructure, driving business insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
The position offers a unique blend of technical challenges and business impact, working with modern technologies like CockroachDB/Postgres, AWS, Redis, Kafka, and BigQuery. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in data engineering, strong Python and SQL skills, and experience with data warehouse design and pipeline development.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer
- Partner with engineering to create and maintain scalable data infrastructure for BI reporting
- Introduce and improve tools and workflows for data processing and analysis
- Design, integrate, and document technical components for data platform
- Investigate data problems and optimize data quality
- Ensure data systems optimization for speed and efficiency
- Interview stakeholders to understand data and BI requirements
- Partner with VP of Revenue Operations on BI initiatives
- Provide trusted data fabric for stakeholders across the company
Requirements For Data Engineer
- Minimum 4 years experience in data engineering
- Strong engineering background including IT infrastructure and BI
- Experience in data warehouse design and data processing tools
- Experience in data pipeline design (batch and streaming)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must work on-site in Amsterdam 3 days per week
