Senior Backend Software Engineer

Stream is on a mission to revolutionize the workers' comp industry by tackling the massive challenge of managing over 10 billion pages of medical documents. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in scaling our platform and enhancing our product capabilities.

We're a YC S22 batch Insurtech startup based in SF, focused on building smart, AI-driven solutions that enable professionals to focus on delivering results rather than drowning in paperwork. Our tech stack includes cutting-edge technologies like serverless computing with AWS Lambdas and Fargate (Python), CDK and GitHub actions for CI/CD, DynamoDB and Redshift for data storage, and various LLMs and embedding models.

As a senior backend engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing and developing scalable backend systems
• Deploying code to production daily
• Integrating AI models including LLMs into our backend infrastructure
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
