Description For Software Engineer, Growth Data Engineering

Stripe is seeking a Software Engineer for their Growth Data Engineering team. This role involves managing business-critical data leveraged across the entire organization. You'll work with various internal teams across Growth, Sales, Marketing, and Data Science to solve their data needs. Your responsibilities include designing and developing data pipelines, models, and products that power Stripe's Growth, Sales, and Marketing teams. You'll build Stripe's Customer Engagement Data Service, refine data foundations, and integrate experimentation infrastructure. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering, with a focus on building data pipelines or applications powered by big data. Knowledge of Scala, Python, SQL, and experience with distributed data frameworks like Spark is required. The role offers the opportunity to have an outsized impact on the business while working with cutting-edge data technologies.
