Description For Developer Success Engineer

Stytch, a leading platform for user authentication and anti-fraud tooling, is seeking a Developer Success Engineer to join their team. This role combines technical expertise with customer success, making it perfect for engineers who enjoy both coding and helping others.

The position offers a hybrid work environment based in the SF Bay Area, requiring 2-3 days per week in-office, providing an excellent balance between remote work flexibility and in-person collaboration. With a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000, plus comprehensive benefits including equity, health insurance, and paid parental leave, this role offers attractive compensation.

As a Developer Success Engineer, you'll be at the intersection of technical implementation and customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include serving as a technical resource for customers, helping them design and implement authentication solutions, and ensuring their feedback reaches the Product, Design, and Engineering teams. You'll also work on scaling the team and improving core products through various projects, such as building customer health dashboards and improving API logging.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, including the ability to read and write code, and familiarity with modern web services and APIs. Experience with authentication protocols (SAML/OAuth), MFA, and IdP is valued. However, what sets successful candidates apart is their strong sense of empathy, troubleshooting abilities, and excellent communication skills.

The role offers exciting opportunities for growth and learning in a high-growth environment. You'll be part of a diverse and inclusive team that values different perspectives and focuses on building the future of user authentication. The interview process is comprehensive but straightforward, including technical assessments and meetings with various team members to ensure a good mutual fit.

If you're passionate about authentication technology, enjoy solving complex problems, and have a knack for explaining technical concepts to developers, this role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact while working with cutting-edge authentication technology.
