Responsibilities For Security Engineer

  • Design, configure, and implement security solutions to protect IT infrastructure, data, and applications
  • Develop and enforce best practices for system configuration and data handling
  • Monitor and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and SIEM tools
  • Lead incident response activities, including forensic analysis
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, PCI DSS, CCPA)
  • Develop and maintain security policies and IT security architecture
  • Provide security training and awareness programs
  • Design and facilitate cybersecurity tabletop exercises

Requirements For Security Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field with 3+ years experience
  • Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, cloud security, and application security
  • Proficiency with security protocols (SSL/TLS, IPsec, SSH)
  • Experience with security tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Splunk, and Metasploit
  • Knowledge of security controls in Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms like GCP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
