SupportYourApp is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to help maintain their infrastructure at the highest level. This role combines system administration, automation, and infrastructure management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong Linux expertise and experience with modern DevOps tools and practices.

Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer (Ukraine)

  • Automate development and testing processes (from creating new to maintaining existing projects)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD processes
  • Configure and control monitoring systems (Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, ELK, Sentry)
  • Maintain cloud servers (from installation to patch management and technical problem solving)
  • Work with databases (backup, replication, query profiling, troubleshooting)
  • Ensure server and system security (vulnerability detection and elimination)
  • Document and maintain system inventory

  • 3+ years of experience in system/network administration (mainly Linux servers)
  • Knowledge of computer networks and protocols: network topology basics, OSI model, TCP/IP stack key protocols
  • Practical experience with Linux
  • Ability and experience in writing Bash scripts
  • Experience with Docker and docker-compose
  • Practical experience building CI/CD using Jenkins and Ansible
  • Experience administering web servers and load balancers (Nginx, Apache Tomcat, Haproxy)
  • Experience configuring Postfix (IMAP, DMARC, SPF, DKIM)
  • Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL database management
  • SQL knowledge (syntax, profiling, performance optimization)
  • Experience with AWS/S3 and Cloudflare
  • English language level Intermediate (B1) or higher
