As a Data Engineer, you'll join a team of 900+ talented professionals working on mission-critical data reporting systems. Your primary responsibility will be creating and delivering client reports using data warehouse snapshots. This role requires strong SQL expertise, excellent communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail. You'll work at the intersection of technical and business teams, ensuring accurate alignment of reporting requirements with client needs.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract data from the data warehouse for client reports
  • Maintain Reporting framework and adding features to it
  • Create and automate the delivery of data snapshots
  • Communicate complex technical processes to non-technical stakeholders
  • Work with Customer Success Manager to understand reporting needs
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports
  • Troubleshoot data extraction, transformation, and delivery issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize reporting processes
  • Maintain documentation of client reporting procedures

Requirements For Data Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in data reporting
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with dbt and airflow (plus)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Must be based in Portugal with valid EU visa
