Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop new products and improvements
  • Contribute to DFX activities (manufacturing, assembly, cost)
  • Own mechanical modular sub-assembly design architectures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on design features
  • Conduct testing and analysis of mechanical systems
  • Create and review mechanical design documentation
  • Provide technical support to other teams
  • Stay up-to-date with latest mechanical engineering trends

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer

  • MSc in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in developing medical devices or consumer electronic goods
  • Fluent in English with exceptional technical writing skills
  • Exceptional proficiency with CAD design (CATIA V5/V6)
  • 3-5 years experience in mechanical design of injection moulded products
  • Proficient in GD&T, statistical tolerance analysis and functional dimensioning
  • Experience with DFM and DFA
  • Knowledge of 2D drawings and 3D engineering files
  • Experience in various production techniques
  • Solid understanding of mechanics and materials science
  • Ability to work on-site 2-3 times per week
  • Ability to travel 2-4 times per year
