The Process Development Engineer role is a crucial position within their manufacturing operations. You'll be responsible for designing, optimizing, and scaling up manufacturing processes for medical devices while ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO regulations. This role combines technical expertise with practical manufacturing experience, requiring someone who can handle both the technical aspects of process development and the hands-on maintenance of production equipment.

Responsibilities For Process Development Engineer

  • Design, develop, optimize, and scale up manufacturing processes for new and existing products
  • Run tests directed by Process Development Engineering Lead
  • Oversee troubleshooting of Production equipment issues
  • Update equipment with new components and/or features
  • Maintain Production equipment
  • Implement new supplies or equipment for production line
  • Develop and maintain process documentation
  • Conduct Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualifications
  • Setup and analyze Production Line Manufacturing Metrics tracking tools
  • Manage calibration of tools
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements For Process Development Engineer

  • Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years working in manufacturing environment for medical devices
  • Highly independent and self-directed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Statistical Analysis of data skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work in high-paced environment
  • Proficient in English
