Responsibilities For Field Service Engineer (Medical Device - Philadelphia)

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair designated medical equipment within an assigned service territory
  • Manage time effectively to handle preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades, and customer calls
  • Assess and prioritize the urgency of customer requests and follow through to completion
  • Escalate incidents when necessary and request additional assistance from senior representatives
  • Examine and resolve difficult customer issues, meeting established FSE performance levels
  • Maintain effective territory management and expense control
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships using excellent communication skills

Requirements For Field Service Engineer (Medical Device - Philadelphia)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree, technical/vocational training, or military experience preferred)
  • 2-5 years of related experience in electronics and medical equipment maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical engineering principles
  • Proficiency in using testing equipment for verification, checkout, and calibration
  • Solid computer skills, including troubleshooting software and network issues
  • Ability to diagnose and solve complex mechanical problems
