Syndigo is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, India. This role involves providing technical support for the Riversand SaaS product, managing customer issues, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Application Software Support, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a 24x7 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Riversand SaaS product
- Manage and resolve customer issues within SLA guidelines
- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents
- Debug, troubleshoot, and test software and application issues
- Drive end-to-end resolution of critical incidents
- Contribute to knowledge base and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in Application Software Support
- Experience with global customer support via email, remote troubleshooting, and phone
- Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment with shift roster
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
- Familiarity with API troubleshooting tools like Postman
- Knowledge of data configuration structures (JSON, XML, YAML)
- Experience with log management and monitoring tools
- Proficiency in ticketing systems like Jira Service Desk or ServiceNow
- Ability to work with Linux OS and microservices architecture
- Scripting skills in shell and Python
Nice to have:
- Java programming knowledge
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker Swarm or Kubernetes)
- Understanding of technologies like Netty/Nginx, Elastic Search, MySQL, Apache Storm, and Kafka
