The ISSE position requires a seasoned professional with 12 years of experience to perform critical security assessments, design and implement cybersecurity systems, and manage risk across complex computing environments. You'll be working with multiple enclaves and varying data protection requirements, directly contributing to national security initiatives.

Responsibilities For Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)

  • Perform technical security assessments of computing environments
  • Validate and verify system security requirements
  • Design, develop, implement and integrate Cybersecurity systems
  • Support security authorization activities
  • Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks
  • Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management
  • Review certification and accreditation documentation
  • Participate as primary security engineering representative
  • Interact with customers and project team members
  • Identify overall security requirements for Government data handling

Requirements For Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline (or 4 additional years of ISSE experience)
  • 12 years experience as an ISSE on similar programs
  • Recent experience (within last 5 years) with Cybersecurity principles and technology
  • DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE II
  • TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship
