As an Embedded Software Developer, you'll be responsible for developing and integrating Board Support Packages (BSP) for hardware platforms, working with state-of-the-art technologies including NVIDIA Jetson platforms. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, strong expertise in C/C++ programming, and deep knowledge of Linux systems. Responsibilities For Embedded Software Developer

  • Integrate BSP provided by vendors into the embedded system and work on software bring-up on multiple platforms
  • Integrate Nvidia's UEFI Capsule update into the existing Over the Air (OTA) update mechanism
  • Implement Jetpack 4 to Jetpack 5 upgrade in existing platforms
  • Design, develop and test new embedded software and enhance existing embedded software
  • Conduct testing and validation of embedded systems
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers, firmware developers, and software teams

Requirements For Embedded Software Developer

Linux
Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience with Git
  • Experience with building, maintaining, and deploying embedded Linux operating systems
  • Experience with Linux board support packages (BSPs) for ARM based SoCs
  • Experience working with NVIDIA Jetson Xavier and Orin
  • Experience with Linux device trees and device tree overlays
  • Strong Linux fundamentals
  • Linux device driver and bootloader experience
  • Experience with Linux drivers for I2C, SPI, PCIe based devices
  • Experience integrating video cameras and serdes with Linux
  • Strong trouble-shooting, problem solving, and software debugging skills
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical writing skills
