Senior Data Engineer - Remote EU/UK

Syrup is building an AI-powered predictive software for inventory decisions in commerce. As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be a crucial part of the core team, leading the development of our data ingestion and processing pipeline. This is a greenfield project in a fast-growing, machine-learning startup backed by Google's AI fund and industry veterans.

You'll collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business experts to revolutionize inventory decisions for apparel brands and retailers. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a state-of-the-art data ingestion and processing pipeline
• Partnering with various teams to deliver robust data infrastructure
• Contributing to a fast-growing startup with direct impact
• Building intuitive and predictive software

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments
• Strong collaborative mindset
• Expertise in Information Architecture, Data Engineering, and Data Warehousing
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Python, Pandas, and cloud deployment (AWS)
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus

Salary range: 70,000 - 140,000 EUR (or competitive equivalent in other locations)
