Senior Software Engineer - Frontend (React)

Sysdig is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Frontend (React) to join their team. In this role, you will design technical solutions based on product requirements, create performant and intuitive user interfaces, collaborate with product and design teams, and partner on code reviews. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience building frontend web applications with React, strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with unit testing. Key Responsibilities:

• Design technical solutions based on product requirements and priorities
• Create performant, intuitive, elegant user-interfaces
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define feature specifications and timelines
• Partner on code and design reviews

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience building frontend web applications with React
• Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and mocking in Jest
• Computer science fundamentals in design, data structures, and algorithms
• Collaboration experience with distributed teams

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with data visualization / D3.js
• Experience with CI/CD concepts
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS
• Experience building lightweight REST APIs with NodeJS
• Experience with distributed systems
