Description For Sr. Customer Solutions Engineer

Sysdig is seeking a Sr. Customer Solutions Engineer to join their innovative cloud security team. This role involves collaborating closely with customers, providing technical guidance, and driving business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with container technologies, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships across customer organizations
  • Providing guidance on Sysdig deployments and operational best practices
  • Contributing to workshops to help customers maximize the value of the Sysdig platform
  • Advocating for customer requirements to align product roadmap initiatives
  • Partnering with Sales, Support, and Professional Services teams

Technical requirements:

  • Experience with container image optimization, Kubernetes installation and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native applications, security, and DevSecOps
  • Software development and API scripting skills
  • Project management and strong communication abilities

Preferred qualifications:

  • CKAD/CKA/CKS Certifications
  • Experience with Linux, Helm, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Cloud Platforms
  • Familiarity with Prometheus and PromQL
  • Background in Cyber Security for Cloud and Container Ecosystems

Responsibilities For Sr. Customer Solutions Engineer

  • Collaborate with Sysdig customers on a regular basis
  • Build and maintain relationships across the customers organization from engineers to Exec level
  • Drive business outcomes and value realization by establishing customer centric solutions
  • Provide customers guidance on Sysdig deployments and operational best practices
  • Contribute to workshops aimed at helping customers unlock the full value of the Sysdig platform
  • Be an advocate for customer requirements and partner with Product Management and Engineering to align roadmap initiatives
  • Partner with Sales to drive customer retention and account growth
  • Partner with Support and Professional Services to ensure highly quality customer solutions and efficient issue resolution

Requirements For Sr. Customer Solutions Engineer

Kubernetes

  • Experience creating and optimizing container images
  • Experience installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting solutions on Kubernetes in an Enterprise environment
  • Experience creating and managing Kubernetes clusters On-Prem and/or on Cloud Service Providers
  • Strong understanding of cloud native applications, platforms, security, automation techniques, and DEVSECOPS
  • Experience in software development and scripting using API endpoints
  • Experience leading and managing projects, working with Customers/Users
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience managing issues, root cause analysis, and driving to resolution
  • One or more of CKAD/CKA/CKS Certifications
  • Experience with Linux, Helm, Terraform, Kubernetes, Cloud Platforms
  • Experience with Prometheus and PromQL
