Sr. Software Engineer

Sysdig is at the forefront of cloud security, stopping attacks in real-time by instantly detecting changes in cloud security risk using runtime insights and open source Falco. We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our passionate team of open source enthusiasts and technical problem-solvers.

As a Sr. Software Engineer at Sysdig, you will:

• Architect efficient and reusable code for complex applications
• Design, implement, and deliver cross-functional features built on our data architecture
• Contribute high-quality code and promote development best practices
• Manage complex projects collaboratively with Product Managers and other Software Engineers
• Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent issues

We're looking for someone with:

• 7+ years of experience in developing scalable and secure Backend services
• Proficiency in Go programming language
• In-depth knowledge of Backend foundations, including RESTful API design and microservice-based architectures
• Experience with testing methodologies, relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), and potentially graph databases (Neo4j)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
