Description For Infrastructure Engineer

T-Tech, a leading UK-based IT Consultancy and Cloud Service provider, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic team in London. This role combines technical expertise with leadership opportunities, focusing on cloud infrastructure management and high-level technical support.

The position involves managing and improving cloud services platforms, providing Tier 3-4 technical support, and ensuring optimal system performance. You'll be responsible for evaluating and implementing system management technologies, handling major incidents, and contributing to the company's continuous improvement initiatives.

As an ideal candidate, you'll bring at least 18 months of 3rd line service desk experience, strong Microsoft technical skills, and exceptional communication abilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both technical challenges and mentoring others, as you'll be coaching platform engineers and other team members.

Responsibilities For Infrastructure Engineer

  • Provide Tier 3-4 support for the Service Desk
  • Diagnose and resolve IT problems escalated by Service Desk Analysts
  • Monitor, manage and improve cloud services platforms
  • Evaluate, deploy, and manage system management technologies
  • Support Professional Services team in project deployments
  • Manage major incidents and incident reviews
  • Build and improve KPIs for service monitoring
  • Coach and mentor Platform Engineers and other team members

Requirements For Infrastructure Engineer

  • Previous 3rd line service desk experience (minimum 18 months)
  • Strong technical Microsoft experience
  • Great communication skills
  • Exceptional customer Service skills
