Responsibilities For Lead Software Engineer (AI features)
- Actively write production-grade code daily across all system layers
- Implement LLM and ML integrations into production systems
- Build and optimize time-series ML models for business forecasting
- Develop backend services and APIs that support AI functionality
- Lead a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers
- Architect and design scalable solutions integrating LLMs and ML models
- Mentor team members through pair programming and code reviews
- Drive technical decision-making for AI feature implementation
Requirements For Lead Software Engineer (AI features)
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a technical leadership role
- Strong hands-on coding skills with daily programming experience
- End-to-end development experience across AI, backend, and frontend systems
- Experience building and integrating user-facing AI features
- Track record of implementing LLM-based features in production applications
- Experience developing and deploying time-series ML models
- Ability to overlap at least 4 hours with Japan timezone (JST/UTC+9)
- Production experience with AI service integrations (OpenAI API, Claude API, etc.)
- Strong understanding of GraphQL and RESTful APIs
- Experience with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.)
