Junior Network Engineer

As a Junior Network Engineer with tastytrade, you'll be part of the team that builds out the retail brokerage business and supports our other business initiatives. We care about the speed and stability of our back-end systems as much as we care about the experience our customer-facing applications create. Our architecture is consistently evolving as our business grows and we face different technical challenges, but always with a focus on practicality and performance.

You'll help tastytrade deliver the best possible customer experience by bringing a detail-oriented approach, staying up to date with current and future networking technologies, collaborating to help proactively identify potential issues on tastytrade's infrastructure, and taking on a variety of tasks and projects. Our primary focus is maintaining the most reliable and performant network for the best possible customer experience.

This position is based in tastytrade's Chicago office and requires travel to tastytrade's datacenter locations (greater Chicago and New Jersey) as needed.
