TAWANTECH is seeking an experienced Atlassian Jira Developer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role combines technical expertise in Jira administration with project management and system integration capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for customizing and maintaining the Jira environment, ensuring seamless integration with other tools, and supporting users across the organization. Responsibilities For Atlassian Jira Developer
- Customize and configure Jira projects, workflows, issue types, fields, and screens
- Integrate Jira with other tools and systems (Confluence, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools)
- Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot issues
- Conduct training sessions for team members
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups
- Maintain comprehensive documentation
- Support and Troubleshoot L1 and L2 tickets
- Interact with Vendor Support to resolve issues related to Clarity PPM
Requirements For Atlassian Jira Developer
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- 4-6+ years proven experience as a Jira developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
- Atlassian Certified (ACP100)
- Proficiency in Jira administration, scripting (Groovy, JavaScript), and REST APIs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of database concepts (Oracle, SQL, Relational Modeling/DB Design)
- Knowledge in system database structure
- Well-developed ability to prioritize activities and resources
- Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously and operate under pressure
