Key technical skills include proficiency in Base SAS, Advanced SAS, SAS Data Integration Studio, and experience with various database systems including SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. Responsibilities For SAS Application Developer
- Develop, enhance, and support various SAS-based applications
- Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable SAS code for data processing
- Configure and optimize SAS applications
- Develop and configure new reports, dashboards, and alerts using SAS Visual Analytics
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues
- Collaborate with business analysts, IT teams, and other stakeholders
- Document SAS code, system configurations, and application enhancements
- Provide training and guidance to other teams
Requirements For SAS Application Developer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in SAS development and working with SAS-based applications
- Proficiency in Base SAS and Advanced SAS, including Macros
- Experience with SAS Data Integration Studio
- Expertise in configuring and managing SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya environments
- Knowledge of regulatory applications like SAS FATCA/CRS, SAS IFRS9, SAS Basel4, and SAS AML
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of Java and JSP
- Experience working with Linux/Unix/Windows environments
