Senior Software Engineer (Gen AI Focused)

TaxGPT is revolutionizing the tax and accounting space with AI-driven solutions tailored for accountants, tax professionals, and SMBs. As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Gen AI, you'll be working directly with the founders in their SoMa office in San Francisco.

The role involves leading end-to-end system design, including frontend development in NextJS and backend work in Django. You'll be responsible for architecting APIs (REST and GraphQL), implementing microservices, and managing database security and optimization. The position requires strong technical leadership, with responsibilities including mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and driving R&D initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of experience in developing scalable applications, with a background in Computer Science or equivalent. Experience with AI/LLM projects is highly valued, and knowledge of fintech, tax, and accounting software is a plus.
