Software Engineer, Realtime Compute

The Realtime Compute team at Tecton builds streaming infrastructure for sub-second data freshness in AI applications, including a production-ready Python runtime for secure, scalable realtime code execution.

As a Software Engineer in the Realtime Compute team, you will:

• Develop advanced streaming capabilities in Rift, including joins, stateful operations, and native connectors to streaming data sources
• Build an integrated observability solution with logs, metrics, and traces
• Scale the ingestion platform to handle millions of requests per second with low latency and high availability
• Optimize the sandboxed Python execution environment for fast autoscaling
• Launch infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms, ensuring security compliance and data residency requirements
• Prioritize tasks with a focus on performance-critical areas

The position offers flexibility in work location, with options to work in hub offices in San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, or fully remotely within the US. Tecton provides a competitive salary range of $189,000 - $231,000 annually, along with equity and comprehensive benefits.
