The role focuses on working with software applications that control their next-generation Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. Responsibilities For Integration and Test Engineer - NEW GRAD
- Gain deep understanding of applications used to control the Telesat LEO constellation
- Develop, review, and execute test cases, with results stored in Zephyr
- Characterize product defects and report in Jira
- Work with development teams to seek solutions to bugs
- Ensure product under test meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements
Requirements For Integration and Test Engineer - NEW GRAD
- 4-year B.Sc. in Computer Science or Bachelor's in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with routers and switches
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (POD) and Containers (Docker)
- Understanding of Network Protocols
- Experience with traffic generators (Spirent/IXia, Test Center, tcpdump and iPerf)
- Knowledge of Postgres, MySQL databases
- Strong understanding of OSI-Layer, TCP, UDP, IP networking, routing protocols
- Experience with JSON, JSON IETF, XML, YAML, PROTO, and REST APIs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Must be able to work in Canada and obtain clearance under Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP)
