Senior LEO SOC Data Engineer

As a Senior LEO SOC Data Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing secure containerized software and data analytics systems for satellite operations. The position involves developing and maintaining critical operations software for spacecraft data storage, visualization, monitoring tools, and automation. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the successful operation of Telesat's advanced LEO constellation, working with real-time command and telemetry processing, flight dynamics, and space situational awareness systems.

Working in Ottawa, you'll collaborate with the Lightspeed satellite engineering teams and other satellite operations teams, contributing to the development of mission-critical procedures and processes. The role requires a strong background in software engineering, with experience in languages like Go, Python, and Java, plus knowledge of Linux and containerized systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with at least 4 years of operational system experience who wants to make a significant impact in the space industry.
