Responsibilities For Cloud Security Engineer

  • Assess, design, implement, automate, and document security solutions for AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud platforms
  • Drive exposure management and remediation efforts
  • Work with end users on secure best practices in Infrastructure as Code
  • Analyze and investigate security events and incidents
  • Document and update standard operating procedures
  • Audit infrastructure and automate security tasks
  • Implement security as code using cloud services
  • Monitor system security events and network traffic
  • Develop automated security procedures for code builds and deployments

Requirements For Cloud Security Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience
  • 2+ years experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or MS Azure
  • Understanding of Cloud Computing technologies and automation
  • 2+ years experience with Python, Bash, Ruby, AWS CLI, or REST APIs
  • Understanding of DevOps environments
  • Basic knowledge of network and application security
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions
