Responsibilities For Cloud Security Engineer
- Assess, design, implement, automate, and document security solutions for AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud platforms
- Drive exposure management and remediation efforts
- Work with end users on secure best practices in Infrastructure as Code
- Analyze and investigate security events and incidents
- Document and update standard operating procedures
- Audit infrastructure and automate security tasks
- Implement security as code using cloud services
- Monitor system security events and network traffic
- Develop automated security procedures for code builds and deployments
Requirements For Cloud Security Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience
- 2+ years experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or MS Azure
- Understanding of Cloud Computing technologies and automation
- 2+ years experience with Python, Bash, Ruby, AWS CLI, or REST APIs
- Understanding of DevOps environments
- Basic knowledge of network and application security
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions
