Description For Customer Success Engineer

Tenable, the leading Exposure Management company, is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role combines technical expertise with customer relationship management to drive renewal business and customer upsell opportunities.

As a Customer Success Engineer, you'll become an Exposure Management Subject Matter Expert, advising some of the world's largest organizations. You'll work closely with Customer Success Managers and collaborate with a talented team to differentiate Tenable's solutions in the marketplace. Your role will involve providing technical guidance, discussing security challenges, and ensuring optimal customer experiences across Tenable's product suite.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to influence product direction and contribute to Tenable's growth in the Exposure Management space. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of IT/security experience and excels at both technical and executive-level discussions. Technical knowledge in areas such as Vulnerability Management, Active Directory, TCP/IP networking, and cloud computing infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly valued.

Requirements For Customer Success Engineer

  • 4+ years experience working in IT/security
  • Skill in leading technical and executive-level discussions
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with vulnerability management
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking technologies
  • Understanding of cloud computing infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Security certifications (SANS/GIAC, ISC², ISACA, CompTIA) preferred
