As an Elite Cloud Security Technical Support Engineer at Tenable, you will provide world-class support to Premium Support customers, focusing on cloud security products. You'll be the go-to expert for customers relying on Tenable's Cloud Security solutions to secure their cloud environments. This role requires deep understanding of cloud security, vulnerability management, and compliance auditing, along with impeccable communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining expert-level knowledge of Tenable's Cloud Security products and best practices
- Developing awareness of each customer's cloud deployment and security needs
- Researching and resolving escalated tickets, often recreating issues in a lab environment
- Collaborating with Technical Support personnel to ensure proper handling of premium service accounts
- Escalating software bugs, feature requests, and critical issues to research, development, and product management teams
- Regularly updating management on the status of premium service accounts
Requirements:
- US Citizen with active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Poly or higher clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in technical support for complex enterprise software, with at least 2 years providing tier 3 support in a security clearance environment
- 1+ year experience working on Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), focusing on Cloud Security solutions
- Strong understanding of networks, Linux/Unix and Windows administration, and cloud-based vulnerability management
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) in cloud environments
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and industry security standards
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
