Responsibilities For Staff Research Engineer

  • Monitor threat landscape and analyze impact potential of events in exposure management
  • Coordinate with team and function leads across the business
  • Drive completion of workflow process activities including PR notification and team coverage
  • Create and refine business and technical content (blogs, whitepapers, presentations)
  • Automate discovery of high profile events
  • Mentor team members and help other researchers
  • Respond to media and customer-driven events
  • Interface with stakeholders on research outcomes

Requirements For Staff Research Engineer

Ruby
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of R&D experience
  • 4+ years Programming/Scripting experience
  • Expert level understanding of security vulnerabilities, CVSS scoring
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with vulnerability detection and classification techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to shift priorities
  • Available at short notice for security incidents
