Responsibilities For Staff Research Engineer
- Monitor threat landscape and analyze impact potential of events in exposure management
- Coordinate with team and function leads across the business
- Drive completion of workflow process activities including PR notification and team coverage
- Create and refine business and technical content (blogs, whitepapers, presentations)
- Automate discovery of high profile events
- Mentor team members and help other researchers
- Respond to media and customer-driven events
- Interface with stakeholders on research outcomes
Requirements For Staff Research Engineer
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of R&D experience
- 4+ years Programming/Scripting experience
- Expert level understanding of security vulnerabilities, CVSS scoring
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with vulnerability detection and classification techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to shift priorities
- Available at short notice for security incidents
