Test Engineer - Cloud Security

Tenable, the Exposure Management company, is seeking a detail-oriented manual Software Test Engineer for their Cloud Security team. This role, born out of the acquisition of Ermetic, involves performing manual, regression, and API tests on enterprise-grade complex distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to learn new technologies quickly, and be willing to work in a fast-moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing manual, regression, and API tests on complex distributed systems
• Developing standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
• Identifying potential problems that users might encounter
• Working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience testing deep tech applications
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology, processes, and tools
• Strong technical experience with Operating Systems, IT, Networking, and Databases

Ideal candidates will also have:

• Experience with at least one programming language (Python, C#, Java, Go, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Experience working in a cloud infrastructure security-oriented company
• Experience with applications running on cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, GCP
