We're seeking a CPU Core Level Feature/Testplan Verification Engineer to join our growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our CPU architecture through comprehensive verification processes. The position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the AI computing space, focusing on both ISA and microarchitectural verification.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in CPU microarchitecture, verification methodologies, and hardware description languages. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive testplans, debugging complex issues, and working across multiple platforms including simulation and emulation environments. This role requires a blend of technical depth, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities For CPU Core Level Feature/Testplan Verification Engineer

  • Functional verification with emphasis on core level testplanning, stimulus development and regression debug
  • Create comprehensive testplans based on ISA and microarchitectural specifications
  • Debug core level failures and implement improvements
  • Develop architectural and microarchitectural coverage
  • Support design deployment across simulation and emulation platforms
  • Develop random and directed stimulus for pre-silicon, emulation and post-silicon
  • Work with design, test and post silicon validation teams

Requirements For CPU Core Level Feature/Testplan Verification Engineer

Python
  • BS/MS/PhD in EE/ECE/CE/CS with at least 3 years of experience
  • Strong background in high performance OOO CPU microarchitecture
  • Experience with ISAs - x86, ARM or RISCV
  • Experience debugging RTL and DV in simulation environment
  • Experienced with assembly, C/C++ and UVM based stimulus generation
  • Familiar with simulation, formal and emulation environments
  • Hands-on with scripting (Python, PERL)
  • Experience with hardware description languages and simulators
  • Strong problem solving and debug skills
