Tenstorrent is at the forefront of AI technology, revolutionizing performance, usability, and cost-efficiency in the industry. As AI reshapes computing, our solutions integrate innovations across software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors. Our diverse team of technologists has developed a high-performance RISC-V CPU from scratch, driven by a passion for AI and a commitment to building the best AI platform possible.
As a ML processor bring-up and validation engineer in our System Engineering team, you'll work at the intersection of machine learning and systems engineering. You'll tune model and system parameters, study sparsity and data statistics vs. power/temperature, and debug performance and power bottlenecks for modern ML models. This role offers exposure to state-of-the-art ML processor architecture, embedded firmware development, and board design and debug.
Key responsibilities include developing post-silicon test and characterization plans, ML processor/board/system bring-up and validation, driving issue debug throughout the product lifecycle, leading collaborative test approaches, performing power/performance/speed characterization, and developing frameworks for automating post-silicon verification.
We're seeking candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience. You should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and programming skills (C, C++, Python, Perl), a deep understanding of computer architecture and logic design, and experience with test automation and lab equipment. An interest in machine learning and excellent communication skills are essential.
