AI/ML Engineer - Summer 2025 Intern

Teragonia, a leader in tech-enabled value creation solutions, is seeking a motivated AI/ML Engineering intern for Summer 2025. This role is within the Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (DS&AI) team, offering a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects across diverse industries in the middle-market. The position combines deep experience in Private Equity value creation with expertise in analytics engineering and AI.

The intern will play a crucial role in researching, developing, and implementing cutting-edge AI capabilities within the Decision Intelligence Platform. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of AI/ML engineers, data scientists, management consultants, and other technical experts, you'll help design and scale AI capabilities that enable natural language interaction with enterprise data models and automate challenging problems like database schema matching.

The role offers hands-on experience in developing AI solutions, working with Large Language Models, and implementing ethical AI practices. You'll receive structured mentorship from senior engineers while contributing to innovative products that leverage AI for client success. The position is based in Chicago (Fulton Market) with a hybrid work arrangement and offers competitive compensation ($75,000-$120,000 pro-rated) plus benefits including 401k matching and medical insurance.
