Description For Associate - Analytics Engineering

Teragonia is seeking a talented Analytics Engineer to join their team as an Associate. This role is part of the Value Creation & Analytics (VC&A) department and offers a hybrid work environment. The position is available in multiple locations including Chicago, New York City, Dallas, and Houston, with remote work options available.

As an Associate Analytics Engineer, you will work closely with a team of analytics professionals to design and develop advanced analytics solutions for private equity portfolio companies. Your responsibilities will include assisting in leading analytics engineering teams, understanding client business needs, developing tailored analytics solutions, and creating high-quality reports and dashboards for C-suite executives.

The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Mathematics, along with 3-5 years of experience in Financial Due Diligence analytics, preferably at a Big 4 firm or equivalent. Strong skills in data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI are required, and experience with cloud-based analytics platforms and big data technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities For Associate - Analytics Engineering

  • Assist in leading a team of analytics engineers to design and develop advanced analytics solutions
  • Work closely with Clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored analytics solutions
  • Assist in translating Client communicated business needs into an exploratory data analysis program and lead team efforts to execute
  • Assist in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex enterprise data models
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, visually appealing reports and dashboards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design, develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics
  • Train junior resources
  • Assist with conducting research for thought leadership initiatives

Requirements For Associate - Analytics Engineering
