Description For Software Engineer

Terra API is an innovative healthcare technology company founded in 2020 that provides an API platform for connecting apps to wearables data. The company, backed by notable investors like General Catalyst, Samsung NEXT, and Next Ventures, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their growing team.

As a Software Engineer at Terra API, you'll be working on a cutting-edge platform that enables apps in the fitness, wellness, and health spaces to seamlessly connect with wearable devices. The role involves working with multiple technologies including Python, Swift, Kotlin, React, and Flutter, building both backend services and frontend solutions.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on various aspects of the platform, from API development to SDK creation and real-time data streaming implementations. You'll be responsible for building innovative solutions that make it super easy for apps to integrate with Terra's platform, working with REST APIs, developing SDK packages, and implementing real-time websocket connections for wearable devices.

The ideal candidate should be fast-paced, customer-focused, and autonomous, with a strong desire to learn and grow. The company operates at a high velocity and seeks someone who can match their energy and dedication. While experience is valued, they're open to new graduates who demonstrate the right attitude and capabilities.

The role offers competitive compensation with a salary range of $50K-$200K and equity options between 0.10% - 2.00%. Based in London, UK, you'll be joining a team of 25 people working on transforming how apps interact with health data. The company's vision includes enabling applications to create personalized experiences based on real-time health data, similar to how Spotify and Netflix might adapt their content based on users' heart rates and stress levels.
