Responsibilities For Analytics Engineer, Thermal & Chassis, Semi

  • Analyze vehicle data and extract useful statistics/insights for product improvements
  • Write efficient SQL/Python code and complex queries across extensive data sets
  • Build effective models for hardware optimization, controls, and vehicle diagnostics
  • Work with engineers on end-to-end analyses
  • Identify and interpret trends in complex data sets
  • Automate analyses and author pipelines using SQL, Python, and Airflow based ETL framework

Requirements For Analytics Engineer, Thermal & Chassis, Semi

Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Prior internship/work experience in data analytics
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools
  • Experience with time-series sensors data
  • Experience with distributed computing (Spark/Hive/Hadoop)
  • Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts
  • Experience with Tableau, R Shiny, or D3
  • Experience building machine learning models
