Tesla's Factory Software team is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their night shift operations in Austin. Responsibilities For Application Support Engineer, Factory Software (Night Shift)
- Understand and own the end-to-end integration of MES and ERP applications for production site
- Triage issues from production sites and ensure proper resolution or routing
- Create workarounds for immediate solutions when permanent ones aren't available
- Document troubleshooting guides and provide user training
- Work as incident commander for production-critical calls
- Perform root cause analysis with cross-functional teams
- Maximize productivity in changing environment with shifting priorities
Requirements For Application Support Engineer, Factory Software (Night Shift)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field or equivalent experience
- Willing to work 12-hour night shift on rotating schedule
- Knowledge of MES, WMS, or ERP system
- 2+ years of support experience
- 2+ years of SQL knowledge
- 1+ year experience with Python, Go, or another development language
- 1+ year experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
- Understanding of integrated systems and dependencies
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
