Description For Associate Manager, Data Labeling

Tesla's Data Annotation team is seeking an Associate Manager to lead their data labeling efforts for Autopilot, Full Self Driving, and Tesla Bot software. This role is crucial in maintaining the foundation of Tesla's neural networks and artificial intelligence systems. The position involves managing a team of Supervisors while ensuring the highest standards of data accuracy and project execution.

Responsibilities For Associate Manager, Data Labeling

  • Report accurate daily project results and project analysis
  • Audit team KPI's to ensure consistency and accuracy in performance management
  • Guide teams to achieve deliverables and meet Vision Engineering deadlines
  • Identify and resolve project blockers and task prioritization
  • Support projects from inception including design of project certifications and guidelines
  • Conduct bi-yearly performance reviews and monthly performance check-ins
  • Ensure organization adherence to Tesla's policies and department standards

Requirements For Associate Manager, Data Labeling

  • Ability to manage and motivate a large team performing manual operations
  • High commitment to data accuracy and output with reporting skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and quick learning ability
  • Proven record of executing projects with limited resources
  • Self-starter with ability to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in JIRA, MS Excel, and Confluence
