Responsibilities For Automation Test Engineer, Drive Inverter, Semi

  • Develop and refine automated testing solutions for bidirectional high-voltage inverters
  • Create data pipelining and processing solutions using SQL databases
  • Produce and maintain automation scripts for reliability testing
  • Collaborate with design, reliability, quality, test, and firmware engineering teams
  • Conduct proactive data analysis to monitor test unit performance
  • Interface with test equipment and devices-under-test
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 20% as required

Requirements For Automation Test Engineer, Drive Inverter, Semi

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python (in both Linux and Windows environments)
  • Experience with test and automation systems
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, serial, GPIO, USB, IP/TCP)
  • Familiarity with power converter systems
  • Understanding of electrical schematics
  • Experience with electrical simulation (SPICE) software
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical failure modes
