Description For AV Project Manager
Tesla is seeking an Audio Visual (AV) Project Manager for their Global AV & Events IT Engineering division. This role involves working directly with the Executive Team, Department Managers, Project Managers, and other key stakeholders across all Tesla global sites. The AV Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations and project cycle for Audio Visual Technology projects and Events.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project Planning and Execution: Plan, execute, and oversee technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Engineering teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional departments to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, resources, and expenditures in alignment with organizational guidelines.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to travel 40% of the time
- Degree in AV Design, Integration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- In-depth knowledge of AV Integration installations and wiring configurations
- Basic knowledge of commercial electrical systems and networking
- Strong project management skills, including budget and schedule management

- In-depth knowledge of AV Integration installations, and wiring configurations
- Ability to manage field integration activities and labor
- Basic knowledge of commercial electrical systems and basic networking
- Ability to manage multiple budgets and schedules
