Tesla is seeking an Audio Visual (AV) Technical Project Manager to join their Global AV Infrastructure & Live Events IT Engineering division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with the Executive Team and key stakeholders across Tesla's global sites. The position involves managing complex AV technology projects and live events, requiring a blend of technical expertise and project management skills.

The role demands someone who can effectively bridge technical and business aspects, managing everything from project planning and execution to stakeholder communication. Responsibilities For AV Technical Project Manager

  • Plan, execute, and oversee technical projects from initiation to completion
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams and stakeholders to define project objectives
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and expenditures
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to project teams
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders
  • Coordinate project resources, tasks, and dependencies

Requirements For AV Technical Project Manager

  • Ability to travel 40% of the time
  • Degree in AV design, integration, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of AV Integration or systems engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of AV Integration installations and wiring configurations
  • Ability to manage and perform field integration activities and labor
  • Basic knowledge of commercial electrical systems, IT systems and basic networking
  • Ability to manage multiple budgets and schedules
