Description For C++ Software Engineer, Teleoperation, Tesla Bot and Robotaxi

Tesla AI's Teleoperation team is seeking a skilled C++ Software Engineer to join their cutting-edge robotics division. This role focuses on developing remote access capabilities for Tesla's robotaxis and humanoid robots, requiring expertise in building optimized, low-latency data streaming systems over unreliable real-world transports.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work with Tesla's end-to-end hardware and software stack, integrating hardware, firmware, and backend systems to create a state-of-the-art teleoperation system. You'll be instrumental in developing the Unreal application that enables remote operators to control vehicles and robots through an advanced VR interface.

As a senior member of the team, you'll make crucial architectural decisions, implement software integration for custom teleoperation systems, and work directly with hardware teams. The role requires strong expertise in C++, Python, and Unreal Engine, combined with deep knowledge of both Windows and Linux environments.

Tesla offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $318,000, plus stock awards. The company provides excellent healthcare options, 401(k) matching, and various family-friendly benefits. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to revolutionary autonomous vehicle and robotics technology while working with some of the industry's best minds.

The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where you'll be part of Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy while pushing the boundaries of AI and robotics technology.
